2.1 When using our website for purely informational purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect data that your browser transmits to the server (so-called „server logs“). When you visit our website, we collect the following data that is technically necessary for us to display the website to you:

  • The website we visited
  • Date and time at the time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes

2.2 For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g. orders or requests to the controller), this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the string „https://“ and the lock symbol in your browser bar.

3) Hosting & Content Delivery Network

For hosting our website and displaying the page content, we use a provider that provides its services itself or through selected sub-contractors exclusively on servers within the European Union.

All data collected on our website is processed on these servers.

We have entered into a contract with the provider for the processing of orders, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits any unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

4) Cookies

To make our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted after closing the browser (so-called „session cookies“), while others remain on your device longer and enable the storage of page settings (so-called „persistent cookies“). In the latter case, you can find out the storage duration of the overview in the cookie settings of your web browser.

If personal data is also processed by individual cookies used by us, the processing shall be carried out in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR either for the performance of the contract, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR in the event of consent given, or pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and in a customer-friendly and effective manner of the visit to the website.

You can set your browser to notify you when cookies are being set and allow you to individually decide whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or generally.

Please note that if you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

5) Contact

In the course of contacting us (e.g. via a contact form or email), personal data is collected. The data collected in the case of using a contact form is indicated in the respective contact form. This data is exclusively stored and used for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or for contact purposes and the associated technical administration.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request. This is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the relevant matter has been conclusively clarified and provided that no statutory retention obligations exist.

6) Web analytics services

IONOS WebAnalytics

This website uses the web analytics service of the following provider: IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany

Using cookies and/or similar technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, algorithms for reading device and browser information), the service collects and stores pseudonymized visitor data, including information about the device used, such as IP address and browser information, in order to evaluate it for statistical analyses of user behavior on our website and to create pseudonymized usage profiles. This enables, among other things, the analysis of movement patterns (so-called heatmaps), which show the duration of page visits and interactions with page content (e.g., text input, scrolling, clicks, and mouseovers). Pseudonymization fundamentally excludes direct personal identification. It does not take place in conjunction with other data collected in a manner that directly identifies you.

All the processing described above, in particular the reading or storing of information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the „Cookie Consent Tool“ provided on the website.

We have entered into a contract with the provider for the processing of orders, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits any unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

7) Page functionality

Google Maps

This website uses an online map service provided by the following provider: Google Maps (API) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”).

Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land-)maps to visually present geographic information. By using this service, our location is displayed to you and any possible route is made easier.

Even when accessing the sub-pages in which the Google Maps map is integrated, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to and stored on Google’s servers; this may also involve the transmission to the servers of Google LLC in the USA. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether a user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data is directly associated with your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for non-logged-in users) as usage profiles and analyses them.

The collection, storage, and analysis of data are carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on Google’s legitimate interest in displaying personalized advertising, market research, and/or the needs-based design of Google websites. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this right, you must contact Google. If you do not consent to the future transmission of your data to Google in connection with the use of Google Maps, you also have the option to completely disable the Google Maps web service by turning off the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps and therefore the map display on this website cannot then be used.

To the extent legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing of your data described above pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please follow the procedure described above for submitting a counter-notification.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level based on a decision on adequacy issued by the European Commission.

Further information about Google's data protection policy can be found here: https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/

8) Tools and other items

Cookie consent tool

This website uses a so-called „cookie consent tool“ to obtain valid user consent for cookie-based applications and cookies that require consent. The „cookie consent tool“ is displayed to users when they visit the website in the form of an interactive user interface, where they can provide consent for specific cookies and/or cookie-based applications by checking a box. When using the tool, all cookie/service applications requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user provides such consent by checking a box. This ensures that only with the consent of the user are such cookies placed on the user’s device.

The tool sets technically necessary cookies to store your cookie preferences. Personal user data is not processed in this case.

If, in individual cases, the storage, assignment or recording of cookie settings nevertheless involves the processing of personal data (such as the IP address), this will be done in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and therefore in a legally compliant design of our website.

Another legal basis for the processing is also Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR. As the controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically non-essential cookies subject to the respective user’s consent.

To the extent necessary, we have entered into a contract with the provider for the processing of orders, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits any unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

Further information about the operator and the settings options for the cookie consent tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.

Web analysis by schubwerk Analytics

To be able to design our website according to customer needs, we use the analysis tool „schubwerk Analytics“. When the website is accessed, communication data is processed via this tool (e.g., information about the device used, IP address) and stored on servers located in Germany by „schubwerk Analytics“. The IP address is irreversibly anonymized at the time of page access. „schubwerk Analytics“ does not use cookies. No information from the device you are using is read out. „schubwerk Analytics“ only uses data that are automatically sent to us by you during the website visit.

No conclusions can be drawn about your identity.

We use the analytics service on the basis of our legitimate interest in recording the visitor flows on our websites and in providing our service in a form that enables a user-friendly experience of the online offering, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

9) Rights of the data subject

9.1 The applicable data protection law grants you, as the data controller, the following rights of data subjects regarding the processing of your personal data (right of access and intervention rights); the respective prerequisites for exercising these rights are referred to in the aforementioned legal basis:

  • Right of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR;
  • Right to rectification in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR;
  • Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR;
  • Right to restrict processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR;
  • Right to information pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR;
  • Right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR;
  • Right to revoke consent granted pursuant to Article 7(3) of the GDPR;
  • Right to complain in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.

9.2 RIGHT OF REBUTTAL

IF, IN THE FRAMEWORK OF AN INTEREST-REASONING, WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA ON THE BASIS OF OUR OVERWEIGHING INTEREST, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO SUCH PROCESSING ON GROUNDS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION.

USE YOUR RIGHT OF RECOGNITION AND WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA IN QUESTION. HOWEVER, FURTHER PROCESSING WILL BE PROHIBITED IF WE CAN PROVE OBSTACLEING REASONABLE PROTECTION GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING, WHICH OVERWEIGH THE INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OF YOU, OR IF THE PROCESSING IS NECESSARY FOR THE ASSERTION, EXECUTION OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED BY US FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR SUCH MARKETING. YOU CAN EXERCISE THE RIGHT AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

USE YOUR RIGHT OF REJECTION AND WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA IN QUESTION FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES.

10) Duration of the storage of personal data

The duration of the storage of personal data is determined based on the respective legal basis, the processing purpose, and – where applicable – additionally based on the respective statutory retention period (e.g., commercial and tax retention periods).

When processing personal data based on an express consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, the data concerned will be stored until you revoke your consent.

If statutory retention periods exist for data processed as part of contractual or quasi-contractual obligations under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, these data are routinely deleted after the retention period expires, unless they are no longer necessary for contract performance or contract initiation and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in their continued retention.

When processing personal data based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right of objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.

When processing personal data for the purpose of direct marketing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, this data will be stored until you exercise your right of objection pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR.

Unless otherwise stated in the other information contained in this statement regarding specific processing situations, stored personal data will otherwise be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed in any other way.
